Graham Dixon joined Inalytics in February 2009. He is widely acknowledged in the transition management industry for both his expertise and experience. He leads our transition management advisory work where we have overseen around £200 billion of assets restructured over the past three years. He was a key member on the working group that planned, monitored, and evaluated the Royal Mail Pension Assets Realisation project for UK Government. Graham is dedicated to transition management work; he has no other roles or responsibilities at Inalytics.
His investment industry career includes: risk measurement at Barra International and quantitative investment management, derivatives, transition management and alternative investments at Merrill Lynch Investment Managers (MLIM). He was a founder and leader of the first specialist transition management team in Europe. As a transition manager, he was involved in some of the largest transition management projects such as when the DTI brought Equitas into existence for the rescue of Lloyds Insurance Market, and the segregation of pension assets brought about by the Electricity Act. Graham was the instigator and driver behind the T-Charter initiative (best practice standards for transition managers).
He graduated with a Joint Honours degree in Computer Science and Economics, and was later awarded an MBA (Dist.) in Finance from the City University Business School.

Lachlan joined Inalytics as Director, Transitions in March 2018. Previously he was Global Head of Transition Management at BlackRock from 2008 to 2017 and led a 50+ team located in London, San Francisco, New York, Boston, Hong Kong, Sydney and Tokyo. He was a member of BlackRock’s Trading and Liquidity Strategies Group Executive Committee.
The transition management team was responsible for providing risk-managed solutions to institutional investors undergoing portfolio reorganizations across all major asset classes. In 2016 the team completed $466bn of transitions for clients and was widely recognized as the leading global provider. Successful transitions included mandates for many of the largest and most complex global Public and Private Pension Funds, Sovereign Wealth Funds, Insurance Companies and Wealth Managers.
Prior to working at BlackRock Lachlan was a Senior Managing Director at State Street and head of their transition management business in Europe from 2000 to 2007.
He started his career at the investment arm of Royal & Sun Alliance (RSA) specializing in derivatives. Over his 14 years with the firm he held various roles including managing funds and management positions.
Lachlan graduated from Durham University in 1986 with a Joint Honours degree in Mathematics and Economics.
